Log in to your online account with Dalhousie University by using my.dal.ca. Dalhousie University is internationally known as one of North America’s most welcoming schools. What is MyDal?

My Dal is Dalhousie University’s online portal that provides students with web-based personalized access to university services and information. From here, you can access announcements, news, OWL, classified ads and much more.

How to Use My Dal Login Page

It’s easy to use the portal – simply follow the instructions below to access your account:

  1. Enter  your NetID (@dal.ca) and password to their respective fields and use the black ‘Login’ button to proceed.
  2. In the event that you forget your password, use the appropriate link to get assistance.

For alumni, use the blue link that says ‘Alumni Login Here’ to get to the proper login page. If you don’t have an account yet, use the link that says ‘New User? Forget Your Password?’ to create one today. On the next page, you will be given options to:

  • Activate or look up your NetID
  • Change your password
  • Reset your password
  • Register your password or reset email
  • See your NetID information

Just use the appropriate button for your concern to get to the proper page. For example, if you want to activate your NetID, use the corresponding button to begin the process right away. Your NetID provides access to your email, MyDal account, computer labs, BLS and other school services. It is usually 2 letters from your name followed by 6 digits – example: xy999999.
