Access your online account with Kwantlen Polytechnic University by using my.kwantlen.ca. This service allows you to take advantage of four different features: online self-service, student email, course websites (moodle) and library. It’s also quite easy to use – you just type in your username and password to their respective fields and use the ‘Login’ button to continue. In the event that you forget your password, you may contact support by using the ‘Forgot Password?’ link.
If this is your first time to use the service, you are advised to access the ‘Online Self-service’ to modify your security profile and set up security questions to protect your account. You may also use these security questions to recover or reset your PIN in case you forget it. Your default PIN, by the way, is the 9-character password that’s based on your date of birth. It comes in this format: DDMonYYY. You can learn more about the university on my.kwantlen.

How to Access Your Email on MyKwantlen
If you want to check your emails through the portal, simply follow the steps below:
- Look for the link that says ‘Student Email’ and use it to get to the proper page.
- On the next page, type in your student number and password to their corresponding fields and use the blue ‘Sign In’ button to proceed.
If you experience any problems logging in, you can reset your password or PIN at www.kpu.ca/oss. You may also use the ‘Help’ link to contact the IT department.
How to View Courses on My Kwantlen
From the portal, select the link ‘Course Websites (Moodle) to get to the right page. This will redirect you to the ‘KPU Courses’ page. Don’t worry if you don’t have login details yet because you may log in as a guest. Feel free to navigate around and find the information you need. If you need help, just use the appropriate link to get assistance. You may also check the updates made by the school on the ‘What’s New?’ tab – and you may find something that you like.
The ‘Library’ link lets you access the various library locations of KPU – Surrey, Richmond, Langley and Tech. From here, you can search for books, articles, journals, videos and more.
